In 2017, Safran Landing Systems and China Eastern Airlines created XIESA, a landing gear MRO joint venture designed to offer a high level of local service for the Chinese market. Certified by the CAAC, EASA (C14, C12, C5), and FAA, Nepal, Indonesia, Philippines for the repair and overhaul of A320 and B737 landing gears, XIESA has full capacity to overhaul landing gears and their hydraulic and electrical components, handling up to 150+ shipsets per year.
